Our Story *
We are a family-owned and operated business proudly serving Southern California. Our roots run deep in the Filipino and Asian produce community. Our father, Rolando Riego de Dios, built trusted relationships in the San Diego area starting in 1980, supplying fresh produce to many Filipino restaurants and markets.
Upon his retirement, his daughter and son-in-law, Joy & Ray Baez, continued his legacy of reliability, service, and community care.
Veggie Pro's mission is simple: Deliver the freshest produce available at the most reasonable price, while treating customers like family.
What We Deliver
A curated selection of fresh produce selected for both cultural kitchens and everyday menus.
We supply a variety of fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables delivered weekly to stores and restaurants. We specialize in Asian fresh produce including Banana Flower, Bittermelon, Chinese Eggplant, Filipino Eggplant, Upo, Petchay, Long Bean, Daikon, Green Papaya, Okra, Sno Pea, Small Taro and Kabocha.
We also deliver American staples including Green Cabbage, Carrots, Celery, Onions and several varieties of Potatoes and Yams.
Additional items include Dry Goods (Raw Peanuts, Blanched Peanuts) and Frozen Goods such as French Cut Green Beans, Green Peas, Whole Okra, Peas and Carrots.
Seasonal specialties include Burro Banana, Manzano and Plantain Bananas, Manila Mango, Bittermelon Leaves, Okra Leaves and Taro Leaves.
